Recap
In recent posts I revealed some of the allegories and symbolisms hidden in the prologue. I’m excited to expose more secrets that are tucked away, but for now, here’s a summary of the previous nine posts.
Legacy of the Kings is an allegory that represents the Christian walk of faith. The story begins with the fall of man as in the book of Genesis. King Meldon (Christ) sacrifices his life to save Isabella (humanity/Church) from Drystan (sin). The story of salvation was crafted into the prologue.
Some of Meldon’s decedents represent Christians. Andrius and Caedmon were adopted to further signify the Christian relationship through Christ. They too are more than conquerors and marked with a symbol. The Symbol of the Kings was inspired by Ephesians 1:13-14. It is a sign of salvation. The Book of the Ancient One represents the Bible, and the messenger of light, who delivered the book to Isabella, is God (or the Ancient One in LOTK), because God gave us His Word.
The Language of the Kings represents the Christian prayer life (including tongues). Wielding the elemental weapons represents the warrior’s faith in action, and God has given each of us a measure of faith. The elemental weapons are engraved with the statement, “To thee I have made worthy.” The response of the element moving is God answering the prayer. Sahib represents Satan.
Adrasteia’s death serves as an example of many that have passed before us. He had the tools and weapons to defeat his enemy, but he didn’t use them properly. You are the engineer of your life. Use the resources God has provided by His Word to live in victory.
“I will study your commandments and reflect on your ways.”
